VoiceAmp VA 601 Fluency Enhancer Device for People who Stutter
It is well known that when People Who Stammer (PWS) talk in unison with fluent speakers they become fluent. The concept of 'second speech' is produced by the device via a tiny microphone & headset and this in turn promotes fluency.

The user can adjust and fine-tune the settings using a PC or using the controls on the device to select different programs. Several modes can be selected on the device itself; this allows for varying surroundings and background noise levels. VoiceAmp has also devised an additional in-ear solution that allows transparency in the wearing of the device.

Professional help and support is always advised, as these are assistive devices and not miracle cures. Young children do respond to these devices, but we do not recommend that assistive devices are used to replace therapy and ultimately parents should consult professional advice if they are unsure. VoiceAmp have invested heavily in training Speech Therapists in the calibration and fitting of these devices.

Stammering is a highly individual disorder and the settings and effectiveness may vary considerably from person to person. Ultimately, trying a device is the only sure way to test the effectiveness of this technology.

One can expect a reduction in stammering of 40% to 85%.
